Belfast based Macklin Care Homes is offering unemployed people job opportunities following completion of a four-week Bridge to Employment training programme.

The company, in association with the Department for the Economy (DfE) and Belfast Met, has developed a training programme to provide trainees with an ONC NI Level 2 Award in Vocational Skills on the role and responsibilities of the Health and Social Care Worker and an understanding of the tasks involved in working as a Healthcare Assistant. The training will be based at Macklin’s Park Manor Oaks Care Home, Dunmurry.

Applicants must be over 18 and no experience is necessary.

The selection process for a pre-employment training place will include an information day and an interview. Applicants invited for interview will be required to complete an Enhanced Access NI Check. Following successful completion of the training programme, individuals will be guaranteed a job interview for a Healthcare Assistant position with Macklin Care Homes.
