Wellbeing Framework Annual Report 2025 - 2026
Date published:
The Wellbeing Framework provides a shared, evidence-based picture of how life is changing in Northern Ireland. It tracks long-term outcomes across society, the economy and the environment, bringing together 52 indicators of wellbeing.
The Framework reflects the understanding that wellbeing is shaped by social, environmental, economic and democratic factors. These are aligned to the Programme for Government Missions of People, Planet and Prosperity, alongside the cross-cutting commitment to Peace, and are organised across ten key domains covering the things that matter most to people’s lives.
Together, the findings in The Wellbeing Framework Annual report 2025 – 2026 reinforce that improving wellbeing is a long-term, collective endeavour. The Framework helps government and partners focus action where it is most needed, supporting better decisions and better outcomes for people across Northern Ireland.
