  • Public Sector Transformation Fund

    Date published: 27 May 2026

Recognising the urgent need for reform of our public services, as part of the financial package associated with the restoration of the Executive in February 2024, £235 million of ringfenced funding was committed over a five year period, commencing in 2024/25, to support public sector transformation.

The Executive agreed the first six projects to receive funding in January 2025, and funding for a further six projects was confirmed in April 2026.

The first Annual Progress Report for 2025/26 highlights early progress across the first suite of six transformation projects following their first full year of funding, and looks ahead to plans for 2026/27 and beyond.
