  • Budget 2011-15 - Draft Strategic EQIA

    Topics:
    • The work of the Executive,
    • Programme for Government, Budget and Economic Strategy

    Date published: 2 February 2011

In order to fulfil its Section 75 obligations under the NI Act 1998, the Executive has determined that the Budget 2010 should be subject to an Equality Impact Assessment at a strategic level.

In undertaking this assessment, account has also been taken of the current economic context as this will have a bearing on the extent to which the Executive is able to react to wider macro economic pressures. The Executive is fully aware that current economic circumstances make equality considerations more relevant than ever before, given the risk that some groups could be disproportionately affected by decisions.
