The Department of Health is working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care (Lon) to support and ensure the continuity of supply of medicines and medical products into the UK should we exit the EU without a deal on 31 October.
As you will have seen, the UK Government has agreed with the EU a further extension of the Article 50 period to 31 October 2019.
As you will be aware, the UK Government and the EU have not agreed the basis upon which the UK will leave the EU in March 2019. ‘No deal’ exit is not the UK Government’s policy, but it is our duty to prepare for a range of scenarios.
