This Code applies to any search by police officers taking place after midnight on 31 May 2015.

This Code applies to applications for warrants made after midnight on 31 May 2015 and to searches and seizures taking place after midnight on 31 May 2015.

This Code applies to people in police detention after midnight on 31 May 2015 notwithstanding that their period of detention may have been commenced before that time.

This Code has effect in relation to any identification procedure carried out after midnight on 31 May 2015.

This Code applies to interviews carried out after midnight on 31 May 2015, notwithstanding that the interview may have been commenced before that time.

This Code should be considered if an interviewer decides to make a visual recording with sound of an interview with a suspect after midnight on 31 May 2015, notwithstanding that the interview may have been commenced before that time.
 

This Code applies to any arrest made by a police officer after midnight on 31 May 2015.

This code applies to people in police detention following their arrest under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, after midnight on 31 May 2015, even though they may have been arrested before that time.
