The Wildfires in Northern Ireland Strategic Framework 2025 - 2030 aims to help to reduce the threat of wildfires in the countryside.
DAERA has launched the Wildfires in Northern Ireland a Strategic Framework 2025-2030.
The Strategic Framework sets the direction of travel over the next five years. It provides a roadmap to guide wildfire prevention, preparedness, response, recovery and enforcement work in Northern Ireland.
The strategic framework contains five strategic objectives: Prevention, Preparedness, Response, Recovery and Enforcement. These strategic objectives are supported by thirty-five key areas of development which, taken together, should ensure that our regional capability to address the issue of wildfire is enhanced. Implementation of the framework and action plan aims to help to reduce the threat of wildfires in the countryside.
